Still you have a few tweaks in post editing to make this stronger imo.

The whites of the "bandage" thingy has some places which look almost overexposed. Just using the burn tool on those places will fix that.

Secondly this just cries out for being presented in black & white.

Wishful thinking would have not shown those 2 finger tips in top right location as they fight with the persons eyes for attention.

That person and those eyes ... just must say wowie big time!

I really like this idea I prefer the desaturated version rather than black and white as the skin tones are yummy. Love the focus on the eyes (though it does look quite soft in some parts of the face, but perhaps that was intentional?).
